Inspired by and early-morning walk through my old neighborhood in St. Paul Minnesota on a beautiful, snowy day. Residents of the area will notice the spelling of the name of this century-old building near St. Clair and Snelling is different from "Macalester", that we see on the college and name of this part of St. Paul. That's just how it is.

I used to live in an old neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota, and one of my favorite things to do was walk around in the early darkness on an autumn evening. This scene captures that feeling.

It was a beautiful Sunday in Minnesota, and I spent it painting the view out my front window of the Luce Line trail. I had an encounter with an adorable possum just off my patio the previous night,  hence the title.
